Abstract Due to the rise in substitution and adulteration of herbal products, as well lack genetic information on Hibiscus plants, more molecular markers are needed understand diversity avoid their misidentification. There many allelic variants functional genes other which control respective phenotypes characteristics. Identifying alleles desired trait by determining diversification through gene-typing allele-specific for authentication is, therefore, a potent strategy.
